In the summer, stop by in the evening after a day at the beach for live entertainment on the outdoor patio.

    We love to cook, entertain and be entertained. A gathering of friends and family is the perfect way to celebrate life, with great food, fun beverages and memorable conversations. Many of our favorite recipes have come from these occasions and are prepared daily with the finest ingredients, utilizing farm to table freshness and locally sourced products whenever possible.

    Our take: Owned by our neighbors at the end of Audubon Pond Road. Surprisingly good.

    Our take: You can choose the fancy “white tablecloth” side or the “red & white checkerboard” café side. We prefer the latter. The cafe side also has fantastic frozen meals for takeout.

    Our take: Family run Frenchbistro with daily hand-written menus. Mostly seafood. Quaint and popular with the locals.

    San Miguel's Mexican Café has been serving the best Mexican Food and Margaritas on Hilton Head Island since 1977. Located on the water in beautiful Shelter Cove Harbour, San Miguel's has indoor and outdoor dining and bar areas with live outdoor entertainment seven nights a week from April through October. We have an extensive menu featuring classic favorites such as Fajitas, Chimichangas, Chile Rellenos and Nachos in addition to some newer items such as Fish Tacos and She Crab Soup.   • Hudson's on the Dock

    Hudson’s Seafood House on the Docks is one of the oldest seafood restaurants on Hilton Head Island. Converted from a seafood processing plant in 1967, Hudson’s is now a dining tradition for islanders and visitors alike and is Hilton Head’s most renowned seafood restaurant. Over 90% of our seafood comes from local boats, fishing local waters so our guests eat the freshest seafood they’ve ever had.

    Our take: A “destination” seafood restaurant.

    Location: Waaay on the north side of the island near the bridge to the mainland.

  • SERG Group of Restaurants

    The SERG Group offers a wide array of flavorful and innovative dining opportunities inspired by a mix of local fare, traditional American cuisine and other influences both near and far.

    Our take: SERG group has restaurants all over Hilton Head. Our neighbor is a partner in SERG!

  • The Jazz Corner

    This Hilton Head Island establishment is the beloved brainchild of the late jazz luminary and historian Bob Masteller, who was inspired by the soul-stirring melodies and lively atmosphere of the jazz clubs he frequented as a young man in the Northeastern United States.

    Bob created The Jazz Corner to provide a classic jazz club experience with perfect sound quality and a great culture—from every angle.

    Our take: Very cool, but need to make reservations well in advance.
